Since 2003 it has been our mission to create programs that highlight a broad variety of genres within film. This year is no different, you will see that we have carefully curated shows (we call them "Mix Tapes") to simulate the in-person experience. Each "Mix Tape" show is a variety of films, pre configured for your viewing pleasure. The shows are categorized into themes and/or "mini" festivals which give the viewer a well rounded film festival experience. This method is a great way to see a wide spectrum of films you may have overlooked in the "2020 Films List".

Sveinung lives in a magical and beautiful place called The Nameless Forest in southern Norway. He is a charming 75 year old man who takes great pride in making useful and lovely things, using almost exclusively what he grows in his garden and what he can build on his property. Making and creating brings him almost as much joy as sharing what he makes with others.

A painter sits in the dark and imagines light. Vibrant dreamscape slowly emerge, as the imagination begins to dance with an invisible brush.
I began experimenting with painting animation in 2016. After a summer working on the feature film Loving Vincent, I decided to record the creation of some personal paintings, with the intention of putting them together as a short film.
The result is this stop motion animation entirely hand-painted onto 9 individual canvases.

Based on a true story. Identical twin brothers are entangled in competition in every aspect of their lives.
