To View the Films
We start streaming the movies starting November 14th. This year's festival features a number of streaming films and shorts. To stream a film, click on its movie poster. NOTE: If you already have a pass, you will need to log in first.

* To stream films on a television, you will need a smart TV with a browser. If you have a smart TV with a browser, you can navigate to our site using your browser, and view everything from there by logging in.

* If you do not have a smart TV with a browser, you can either connect your regular TV to a tablet, laptop or desktop and view that way.  And of course you can always view directly on a tablet, laptop or desktop.

First of all, thank you for asking:

I'm not one to complain, but no one ever asks us about us. They spend a lot of time making sure that THEIR name is spelled correctly, and that's about it. We work pretty hard putting this thing on and do we complain? No, no we don't (except now, I suppose). Anyway, if you are reading this, then you are one of the good ones and we thank you for getting this far and here is a little something for going the extra mile.

Our Mission:

The Chicago international REEL Shorts Festival seeks to
provide opportunity for filmmakers around the world by
showcasing their work to REEL PEOPLE in the
Chicagoland area. We seek to provide a 'REEL person'
atmosphere with low entry fees and low cost ticket prices.
We are the REEL filmmakers' choice for showcasing
REEL talent to REEL people.

Our History

Project Chicago was founded in 2003 by a group of filmmakers and entertainment professionals from Chicago and Los Angeles. They wanted to create an organization easily accessible to all filmmakers that could exhibit and promote world cinema.
