Our custom shows recreate the perfect festival experience!
Since 2003 it has been our mission to create programs that highlight a broad variety of genres within film. This year is no different, you will see that we have carefully curated shows (we call them "Mix Tapes") to simulate the in-person experience. Each "Mix Tape" show is a variety of films, pre configured for your viewing pleasure. The shows are categorized into themes and/or "mini" festivals which give the viewer a well rounded film festival experience. This method is a great way to see a wide spectrum of films you may have overlooked in the "2020 Films List".

This is the story of one of the first College Women’s Crew teams formed in the USA due to the enactment of Title 9 in 1973
NINE is the story of a brave group of powerful young women who came together to petition for the inclusion of Woman’s Crew as a varsity sport at Boston University in the mid-1970’s. They went on to become national champions. This would not have happened without the passage of TITLE 9 which finally gave women the right to equal access to college sports facilities and coaches as well as the right to organize teams with varsity status. These pioneering athletes paved the way for the powerhouse that women’s collegiate sports has become today.

Progress...we have to lose something to gain something
SoHo New York was rundown when I moved there in the early 1970’s. But one day, in a grungy old building, I discovered a remnant of SoHo’s industrial past. Sol Poler and Hymie Ehrlich were spinning metal on century-old machines. I didn’t realize there was something hidden underneath the dirt and grime of SoHo buildings from the 1800’s. I soon discovered Soho’s forgotten history.

How is James Dunnison still alive?
A playful piece of autobiographical memoir. Self-isolating and restless in this time of COVID, I stumbled onto some old photos of the first time I was quarantined – when I was in my early 20s, far far from home. I made this film only using things I could find in my home office.
